Hi Cameron, thanks for the e-mail. Back at work as I write
this e-mail
quite a contrast from last week.
Not seen much of Rob over the weekend as he has been catching up with the girlfriend!!!!!!
- but he also managed to win the Presidents day Golf Championship at his
local club on Saturday so he is feeling quite pleased with himself.
The lads and I had a fantastic week so thanks to you and the rest of the
team for making it such fun.
Overall, I am very posiitve about the my experience with Active - the
activities were well organised, the equipment and instructors were first
class and it was great to get to know you and Adam over the week.
Would definitely book again and thought Teguise was a great place.
Regards Kevin
Hi Marcela
Many thanks for your email re the holiday I've just returned from to
Dahab
(10-17 Dec 06).
The holiday was excellent.
The flights with BA were according to plan and food etc etc were fine.
I was met on arrival by one of your colleagues, plus Mat and Emma who
were
in Dahab for a week to dive. The journey and vehicle from Sharm to Dahab
were very good (comfortable, safe and a good speed) and the 3 of us got
on
very well....throughout the entire week from then on...the journey was
a
good ice breaker in a way.
The hotel (Coral Coast) was really good.....literally on the beach, safe,
clean, lots of hot water in the showers and comfortable beds. The food,
drink, eating arrangements etc were extremely good. All meals were
excellent too. Staff were very friendly and organised and no request
was a
problem and Chris the owner was there to meet us and catch up with us
during
the week over a few beers. It is also worth mentioning how good the
location of the hotel was - just outside of the main tourist bit but
not too
far, pretty much at the end of the coastal path and a good one hour walk
each morning for me and Richard Daniels down to the lagoon (or £1
if we got
lazy). Thank you for the note about Richard D staying there....we met
up on
the first night and had a right laugh for several days until Rich had
to
go...but we've swapped email addresses and no doubt I'll buy him a beer
soon
in London. We did eat out a few times in the main part of town and again
food, hospitality etc was excellent.
The windsurfing was brilliant. A big thank you to the Team -
Ahmed
(patience of a saint) for getting me into footstraps and harness and
smaller
boards, Reda the wind and sail guru and Toby for being helpful generally.
They were all very friendly, gave lots of confidence and were great teachers
and good company throughtout the week. There were several Brits there
we
met up with (and lots of attractive Russian women we
unfortunately didn't get the chance to say hello to!!!!) and we all thought
it was first class. We had wind for all but one day ranging from force
3 to
6. I have to say that force 6 nearly blew to Saudi Arabia!!!!
I think thats about it - it was quiet everywhere compared to peak season
but
in a good way and I thought it was a great time to go - I don't want
to
share the water with 400 windsurfers in September thats for sure.
Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to all the people I've mentioned
above and other work colleagues that I've not named. I'll see you next
December in Dahab!!!!!
I hope the above is the type of info you were looking for.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2007.
Kind regards
Richard
