The girls and I who visited Lanzarote 21 > 29 th July voted this our best holiday EVER . Main 'difference' to other holidays was the Active team and the 'fun spirit' / 'understated professionalism' that meant everything went to plan
All our friends are fed up about hearing how good you guys are !!

Thank you. Already my holiday feels like a distant memory - I guess that's work and British weather for you! It was great to meet you Saturday night too - it was a long night during I drank far too much :o) so I'm sure I should be apologising for something although I can't clearly remember what!! Windsurfing (or at least trying to very badly) after being so wasted and 4 hours sleep was not a receipe for learning to windsurf! I enjoyed getting back under the ocean and having a go at surfing was a blast and the instructor was really good. Was a shame that there weren't more non-families there so as to have more people to go out and play with but that's not Active Adventures issue. Overall I had a great holiday and it was nice to put faces to names and images to places that Pip has spoken so fondly of. Thanks again.

Once again our needs were meet with a friendly, personal and stress free service. Your team really have customer care at its heart and it shows through in all aspects of the holiday.

Just to say carl and I had a great time diving with Moon Divers in Sharm. I was impressed with the emphasis on safety which unfortunately is overlooked at a lot of the places I have dived. The staff are friendly and entertaining and we could not resist the additional dive each day. Will recommend it to friends and colleagues.

We are really happy with the holiday. It was amazing experience for me, my son and my boyfriend Barrie. We were guided by Moon Divers and have accomplished an Advanced Scuba Divers course. We would like to thank them for a very high standard service and professionalism. We were so lucky to be under supervision of the Moon Divers team. We felt safe, calm and enjoyed every dive. We would like to say a special thank you to our instructors- Ashraf (for his patient, if he wouldn't hold me by the hand during the first two dives, I would not progress to Advanced scuba divers certificate), Tamer (for his adventurer's nature- we saw and went through amazing coral arches), Raffik (for his extremely professional and patient guidance achieving Advanced Scuba Divers Qualification).

I had a fantastic time, it was great while I was there but now I'm back home reflecting, it was even better (that's what work does to you I suppose). I thought the single travellers were really well catered for, and I met some great people.
I have leave booked for July and September, so will probably be looking to come out again and do some more diving, & maybe have a go at windsurfing or something. Once I've paid off the bills from this trip, I'll be on the phone: got to have something to look forward to...!

I am writing following my recent Active Holiday to Lanzarote,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the active team for the great time that I spent at Costa Teguise, I am especially grateful to Simon from Calypso Dive centre for putting up with me for the week and taking me on some very interesting dives.
Thanks to Greg for sorting out the go-karting even though there were limited numbers the three of us had a good laugh.
I would be happy to return to the island again with Active would recommend to anybody that is looking to do more than just sit on a beach all day to give it a try.

Yes we're home safe and sound and had a great time thank you. I've been looking at surf boards and winter wet suits as surfing is great to do with the boys, the surf down here on the south coast has been quite good but i can't persuade the boys to get into England's icy water just yet. We met up with will and Cam on the last night and gave them your m&s mini bites to pass to you, I can't imagine what happened to them! Any way thanks once again, the holiday was spot on everyone was great and I'm sure we'll be out again. Lovely to meet and surf with you, we booked because of your obvious enthusiasm as did a few others that we spoke to.

We did really enjoy our holiday although with the diving me and Jack never got time to do anything else.
All the people we met were really helpful and peter from calypso even opened up on Sunday to take us for a dive, the only negative was the hotel was quite smelly(damp type smell)all the time.
We have joined the facebook thing to take a look but have not put anything on there yet.
The diving went really well for us and we really enjoyed it, not too sure if you never saw us then because we were in chispas on the sat night, outside at first but inside later on, just me an Tracy most of the time as jack was wandering about the square.
Anyway all in all a very enjoyable holiday and 1 that I would recommend. We may come back as it was our first time in lanzarote and we all enjoyed it but at the moment we got 1 eye on the red sea.

We had an outstanding time. Thank you so much for reccommending Sands Beach Resort....amazing apartment.
I ended up proposing to Jemma on the Lagoona outside our apartment on the sunday night. Very memorable holiday.
It was just a shame we didnt surf or do your activities....next time.

The Guarapo apartments were absolutely fine - very quiet and resonably comfortable.
How lucky are you to be based there permanently!!!

Great to be back home?????
Quick note/feedback on the holiday in Sharm. Picked up at airport as promised. Met at the hotel by our Dive instructor Raffi from Moon Divers. Rooms were okay (been in better) and the hotel was quiet.
Diving school was great and I would appreciate if you could forward my appreciation to both Raffi and the owner Yahya. They could not do enough for us, information, took us for dinner, taxi's etc..... In particular I would like to thank them as my daughter found the 2nd open water dive difficult due to sore ears. Raffi took us along to the Dr who examined her and identified problems with the inner ear and recommended two days off the diving. He prescribed medicine that has been helpful as well as very good advice for the future. The attitude of the guy's helped myself and my daughter not to worry about her ears and were very knowledgable on the probable symptoms effect etc.
In summary it is not a hotel I would have chosen and the town is a very "touristy" (is that a real word??) but the diving was excellent and the school it's self great. The owner has given me the name of his partner who has a school in Jeddah who I will have no problem contacting to use in the future.
Anyway enough from me, thanks again and maybe speak in the future.

The course was great. I managed to do an extra afternoon in the end, and seemed to have improved quite a lot. I had a great day out mountain biking and wouldn't mind coming back to do some more.

Had loads of fun. Really good holiday, great instruction and location. Meant to hand my feedback form to Cameron but forgot - scored 5 for all of it. It was a true grassroots surfing experience - really enjoyable. Glad I chose Active Adventures over the competition. My only complaint would be the weather but can't really hold anyone responsible for that.
Will certainly surf again in the future.

I enjoyed my holiday so much in Shagra village. It's so nice. The sea is so pure without pollution. During my stay there was full moon which was amazing in midnight. I saw the sunrise at 6:10 every morning. The bedoine tent is so special built on sand beach also. The chalet is not so far and well-maintained. The roomboy cleaned my chalet every morning. I appreciate so much. The restaurant is okay. Most european tourists enjoyed the all inclusive food there. But as far as I am from China, I found some kinds of food didn't cater to my taste. All stuff there are so helpful and efficient. I enjoyed my diving course also and successfully got my temporay certification. My instructor Ahmed Saad is a so nice person. I really didn't spend so much. All in all, I love this trip. I love Marsa Alam.

Hi All, just a quick note to thank you all for an amazing holiday, it certainly exceeded my expectations and I'll be looking to return in the future.
I didn't get chance to see Greg before I left (so the Taxi driver had the bottle of Vodka, sorry mate) but just for your information the feedback form was all 4 & 5's. The only bad point was Greg's jokes, especially the one about the crocodile!
I had a go at Surfing and cycling - Sander is fantastic, very patient and obviously passionate about what he does so big thanks to him.... I stood up!!!! :-) And the cycling shop (Antonio I think?) was extremely good fun, much better than I thought it would be.
Emma was also really good - enthusiastic and ...... HYPER!!!!!!.... great fun and always willing to help - amazing Spanish after just a few months....better Spanish than English I reckon!
All in all a really great trip so thanks again to all at Active.

Had an amazing holiday thanks very much. So glad I went with you guys. I ended up doing the full Paddy and with the help of a very patient instructor (Doug) and a kind Dive Buddy I conquered my fear of deep water!! It was wicked to see so many fish. I am now hooked. Very tempted to book something else but not sure if my bank balance will have replenished itself in only 3 weeks!

Just a quick note to thank you for guiding me towards the best holiday
I've had EVER!!!
The Team at the Coral Coast and Fantasea, couldn't have been any more
helpful. The instruction was first rate and given by a very nice chap
called Doug Biggs who has a very confidence inspiring method of
teaching, very thorough and methodical. The resort itself, albeit not
5*, is an ideal place to learn to dive and of course socialise of an
evening. I will no doubt be going back there in the very near future
either for some more diving or to do the next course :-D .
You and your co-worker did a sterling job arranging things for both
myself and of course my new bestest dive buddy friend (what a stunner)
;-) , shame the week went so quickly, maybe 2 weeks next time... Send me
your address and Ill send you a bunch of flowers...

We had a wonderful time. The whole experience was great. Both Michael and I achieved our PADI open water certificates and thoroughly enjoyed the course, although it was quite hard work and full on with the studying and underwater skills.
I think Michael will take his diving to the next level, but I am happy just to dive for pleasure. We are off to Poland for a wedding and would love to find a dive there. I have looked on the internet and have found Hvar centre, but this does not appear to be near to Poznan where we will be staying. We would love to go to Egypt around Christmas, but being nurses there is no money to spare after the last trip! Our instructor Doug was a really patient and thorough teacher. I felt confident to dive with him. There is no place like the bottom of the ocean. Regards, Mandy
