The PADI Open
Water course and PADI Advanced Open Water course are the most popular
and essential PADI courses. All our dive centres are 5 star PADI
dive centres and
our instructors trained in, and qualified to teach, the PADI scuba diving

PADI Open Water Course
What does the course involve?
The course is split into three parts. Theory, Confined Water and Open water. Part
1, the theory, is taught using books, videos, quizzes and your instructor.
We have taught many dyslexic people over the years, so don't be put off by the
theory, its easy. Part 2 involves swimming pool training. This
is great fun, and teaches you a variety of standard diving techniques and emergency
procedures. Part 3 puts your theory and confined skill practise
into action with 4 ocean dives.
How long will it take?
3 to 4 days.
What am I qualified to do with a PADI Open Water license?
You can dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres or 60 feet, with a person
qualified to the same level or higher. It also allows you to buy or
hire dive equipment and get your tanks filled at a filling station.
What do I need?
Just a swimming costume. You do NOT need any previous diving experience.
PADI Advanced Open Water Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course can be taken
immediately after completion of your PADI Open Water Diver Course. The
course provides training in different areas of diving, such as the marine
life, dive equipment, wreck diving, deep diving and navigation techniques.
What does the course involve?
The course involves 5 ocean dives and very little theory. A deep dive
and navigation dive are compulsory, the other three dives are elective,
and can be chosen from a range of choices.
What am I qualified to
do with a PADI Advanced license?
Dive to 30 metres or 100 feet with another diver qualified to an advanced
level or above.
What will I need? How long will it take?
Nothing, we will supply everything you need. The course lasts
2 to 3 Days.
