Kitesurfing in Egypt is ideal for those seeking flat waters and shallow lagoons.
I kid you not, you will even get the opportunity to snorkel and swim with dolphins and maybe even kitesurf with dolphins! You have to go to this place to believe it!

The bay is a flat 3 ft lagoon with crystal warm water and great year-round wind! The area hosts a national mangrove marsh land, amazing desert views and a outer reef ideal for a few tricks
Kitesurfing Egypt - Marsa Alam - Wadi Lahami
Wadi Lahami is found 2 hrs south of Marsa Alam airport. Virtually untouched by tourism you will be amazed by the calmness and beauty of the most southern frontier of surfing in Egypt.
You can learn to kitesurf in the lagoon. You are protected by the inner reef allowing you to learn in a tranquil setting without waves hitting you in the back of the head.
For those more experienced and wanting to break the Egyptian speed record, all you need to do is head a little further out, passed the reef and you have an endless array of poppers, flat water and small waves. The wind is stronger passed the protected bay and is plenty for speed freaks and freestyle junkies alike!

Age Limits?
Their isn't an age limit. As long as the kid can do 5 chin ups and swim for 20 minutes, he's allowed to ride!

'Best' Kites from 5m up to 15 meters - 2 of each. 4 line bow kites and 5 line C Kites available.

Year-round sunshine 30 - 40oC in the summer. 23 - 32oC in the winter. Winter evenings, bring jumpers and trousers.
Water Temperature: 20°C (68°F) in February to 27°C (81°F) from July to October
