Wadi Lahami is found 2 hrs south of Marsa Alam airport. Virtually untouched by tourism you will be amazed by the calmness and beauty of the eco villages. Set in a national Park and constructed on a philosophy of 'soft impact' the suuroundings are well kept and treated with respect. The villages are filled with active people, you will not find any tourists just visiting the area, everyone there is there to dive or surf. There is a great small and close community at the centre allowing people to mingle and have fun in the evenings.

Our Kitesurf centre is located right on the beach with hip high water year-round. The location is ideal for all levels and is always busy with other surfers.

Ecolodge Shagra Village is the base of Red Sea Diving Safari with one of the most beautiful house reefs in the south.The village is situated opposite the famous Elphinstone reef. The village houses 51 chalets, 25 huts, and 40 tents. The bay (Marsa) where the Ecolodge is set up has superb house reefs which house many species of fish, an excellent variety of hard corals, and has excellent night diving possibilities. This is the mothership of all villages and great for individuals.
The bay is shallow, approximately 10 meters in depth, and slowly dropping as it reaches the outside walls which are 40-50 meters in depth.
The diving program of Ecolodge Shagra Village is suitable for all divers. Our diving packages offer unlimited house reef diving, night diving, 2 guided dives a day either by truck or inflatable on the house reef plus, optional boat dives to the numerous offshore reefs of the area.

The Ultimate Red Sea DIving Safari! Whether its kitesurfing or Diving, you got the best right here! Home to the Fury shoals Sataya and Dolphin Reef, you can't get much better. Very remote, but worth the isolation and he dolphins will blow your mind!

Ecolodge Wadi Lahami Village is our third village settled in a sheltered bay just above Ras Banas, directly opposite the multitude of off shore reefs collectively known as the Fury Shoals. It's the most southern Eco-village of Red Sea Diving Safari. This remote bay is located 393 km / 5 hours South of Hurghada Airport, 180km /2 hours south of Marsa Alam Airport, and 120km south of Marsa Alam Village. The Village houses 16 Chalets and 30 Tents.

From Wadi Lahami we dive the walls and habilis (Arabic word for pillars) of the offshore reefs of the Fury Shoals and the in-shore local reefs of Wadi Lahami. These offshore chain-reefs are filled with very rich marine life. Pelagic fishes, such as jacks, tuna, sharks and rays are cruising visitors. The hard corals, which make up the reef topography of Fury Shoals, are believed to be the one of best examples in the world. This remote area still offers a sense of exploration and discovery. Throughout the entire Red Sea there is no comparable area blessed with the most extensive and remarkable coral forest.

This is a great opportunity to dive the  ‘deep south’ sites, whilst having the freedom and flexibility of being land based. This place is for adventurous divers seeking the opportunity to discover pristine reefs in a no frills “close to nature” expedition environment.

    The kite camp is the perfect location for travellers wanting to kite, kite and kite more! Ideally set 300 meters behind the kite village, it is purely meant for kitesurfers. Grab your breakfast in the morning and just stroll towards the kite station to enjoy the ride! Based on a half board basis, breakfast and dinners are served in the camp. For lunches, a snack bar is opened in the kite village. At night, it is a relaxing place to meet with other fellow international kitesurfers, share war stories and smoke a shisha! The rooms are basic but clean and have air conditioning, private showers and toilets, SAT/TV and a small shaded terrace.

    The camp contains of 24 small rooms. You can choose between rooms with one big double bed or two single beds. All rooms are equipped with a shower/toilet, air conditioning, refrigator, SAT/TV and a shady terrace. Beach chairs are also available.

    Two towels, two bottles of water and two soft drinks per person/day are included. Breakfast and dinner is offered by the camp kitchen.

    In the afternoon and at night you can enjoy the beautiful starry sky while smoking a Shisha.

    For all who are in search of ease during their holidays but do not need the comfort of a hotel, the camp is a great low budget solution with the advantage of staying near-by the Spot.
