Surfing holidays are possibly the best choice of holiday, they are invigorating, fun, and full of adrenaline. You will get fit and learn alot about the ocean, waves, oceanography and more. It is advisable to be fit before you learn to surf and have good balance. The fitter you are the more fun you will have when learning to surf. Do not get put off by all the crazy places to surf, what you want when you learn is a gentle beach break, not a shore break on a beach, somewhere that has gentle waves and some white water that you can practise in, get to know your board, practise standing up on a surf board and progress slowly.
