Hi Tony, Thanks for following up. I must say that I really appreciate the service given by Active Adventures, from the first contact I had with you until I got to Lanzarote and back here in London. Everybody was very friendly and helpful all along the way. I never felt left on my own to find information. You all helped me enjoy my holiday at the max and I thank you for that ! The activities offered and that I tried were pleasant and worth trying. I particularly enjoyed surfing with Nicolas from your surf centre. Thanks to his dedication to his sport and his good teaching I got to ride a few waves which left me wanting more...
All in all a good experience that I would recommend. My advice: remind travellers to take their driving license with them ! I forgot mine...

Hi Tony, Thanks to you and your team for a great week in Lanzerote. Everything was so well organized, straight forward and went without a hitch. The apartment was more than adequate for active people, and the airport transfers were prompt. Thanks to Greg for hosting the get togethers with other active adventures guest; it works well for those of us who travel alone. The dive centre was excellent; very friendly, very patient and very professional. By the end of the week I was enjoying diving again after my bad diving experience five years earlier. I am hoping to return to Lanzarote to dive again later in year and look forward to travelling again with Active Adventures Thank You Stewart
Hi Dan, I really enjoyed my trip. I did decide that surfing was more my cup of tea than windsurfing - having a sail to worry about as well as having to stand on a board was just one thing too many for me to cope with! Although I wasn't overly impressed with the hotel - my room didn't have a sea view (which wasn't too bad), but worse a lot of things came off (like the lids for the shower gel, shampoo, bath tap, etc). Also it would have been useful if somone had told me that the clocks had changed in Lanzarote, as I very nearly missed my flight home! I had no idea a place that close to the equator would change it's clocks! Other than that, it was fun. Cheers, Kirsten
Hi Dan, I had a great time thanks.It was nice to meet Carol and Greg.I developed my windsurfing to the next level as I had hoped.I thought Laurent and Russel were great.Nothing was too much trouble and they always had time for me.Laurent doesn't give you an easy time as he wants to get the best out of you!Same for Nicolas with the surfing,I learned a lot in the 1 day trip I added to my holiday.Greg made everyone feel very welcome,and gave us a great evening out at the tapas restaurant.It was great to meet the others on their holiday,and discuss the days events over a beer. Hi dan, We're back safe and sound. The trip was perfect. The hotel staff at coral coast were lovely, all very helpful, polite and funny. Julia was our dive instructor. She was great. Obviously knew exactly what she was doing, and made the dives as much fun as she could--(she couldn't do much to stop the mask-off drills sucking). Fully recommended Dave

Hi there Carol, Just wanted to say a big thankyou for all your help, constant updates and just all round making in dead easy and straight forward and stress free to organise my trip. I am now at last got my advanced diver and im sure i will be topping up with more courses in the not too distant future.. I just wanted to say all the guys at your Sharm Dive centre were really excellent people , very professional and all round good guys, i pretty much spent most of my time when not diving chilling out with them anyways. If you could email or let them know that i could not have been happier that would be great and i would recommend them to anyone going to Sharm :-) Great experience and hopefully next time i go back it'll be in the times for the whale sharks and Mantas :-) , really buzzing from this trip and cant wait to work out some potential times for a follow up hopefully later in the year ... Hi Tony, Sorry your email was lost in between all the junk mail I get. My vacation was great. The kite camp was wonderful, including all the staff both at the camp and at the beach. The camp is a bit far away from the Marsa Alam airport. It takes 2hours by car but the transportation was no problem and I found the driver waiting for me when I arrived. I would like go there again maybe next Christmas. The weather was great, sunny and warm. Wind conditions were OK, we had 2 days with no wind but then we went snorkeling. I had a really nice time over there and hope to go again. Best wishes from Vienna,
Hi Tony We had a great time thanks! Dive school were fantastic, in particular our guide Tamar. The diving was spectacular, we really enjoyed the week. Falcon Hills is fine, nothing luxurious about it, but exactly what you expect when you're going diving all day - just wanted somewhere clean to rest our weary heads :-) Would definitely book any future diving holidays with Active Adventures . I just wanted to drop you a note to say that my family and I had a wonderful holiday scuba diving with your diving school. From our initial contact to the final handshake goodbye we were impressed with the professionalism of both organizations. Special thanks to Jo for being a great instructor and also to Peter who looked after our daughter whilst she did her advanced diver. You have certainly given us the bug and already we are thinking about next years trip and where to go. Given our love of the sea we might try a live-aboard.
Hi Tony My lads and I had a fantastic time with you all in Lanzarote. The long suffering instructors were chilled, good fun and great teachers. The approach by Gregg was nicely judged, helpful and amusing without any sense of intrusion or pressure. We met a great group of people and really enjoyed their company, we were very sad to come home. Our most most favourite holiday ever. Good good times. We would also like to especially thank you all for the kindness and personal attention given to us when we had to cancel our original AA holiday at Easter at 48hrs notice following my son's serious snowboarding accident. Yola and the team did everything they could to provide counselling to an anxious Mum at an incredibly difficult time and worked really hard to help us minimize financial losses and reschedule our trip when my son's back had repaired.

Angie, Well we are home again and I am back to work and our holiday seems a long time past but I thought I would write you an email to thank you for organising things for us. Active Adventures were brilliant. Angie, Carol and Tony made booking our holiday realy easy even when at the last minute we realised the flights were booked for the wrong return date. Nothing seemed to be a problem and enquiries and questions were answered by email within hours of sending. When we arrived we were met at the airport and guided to our minibus for the short transfer to our accomodation. both transfers to and from the accomodation were punctual and the drivers were polite and helpfull even though my Spanish is terrible. We arrived at the resort and were quickly checked in and shown to our accomodation. The appartment was very clean and well maintained. It consisted of a bedroom with a double bed, a lounge /diner with a kitchen area and two more beds (one pull down from a cupboard and one sofa bed) and a bathroom with two sinks and mirrors in the passage way outside the bathroom. The kitchen was adequately equipped with an electric hot plate, microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of cupboard space. As we were on a budget this made self catering easy and we managed to make several nice meals over our stay. The bed was a little hard for us but we swapped to the pull down bed which was better. As with the appartment the rest of the complex was very clean and well maintained. The staff were always polite and helpfull, especially the cleaners who visited most days to clean up after us and replace towels and sheets as needed. They work very hard, and it shows. We had breakfast in the main restraunt which was realy nice. The choice was exceptional ranging from fresh fruit and yogurts to a full English. Good quality food and well cooked and presented. The swimming pools throughout the complex were regularly cleaned and maintained which made it a pleasure to swim in them even though they were not heated (This came as a welcome relief from the heat when sun bathing) Shopping was made easy as there is a supermarket adjacent to the reception and after making the mistake of shopping for food outside the complex we realised that it was realy no more expensive. The main bar and the beach bar were very nice. our preference was the beach bar as entertainment of different sorts was organised most nights in the main bar. This would be great for families with kids up to about fourteen but not our cup of tea so we tended to have a quiet drink on our balcony most evenings and maybe chat with the neighbours! We realy could not fault the resort and will be booking again for next year. Active Adventures booked us a four dive package with their Diving center. We walked up to the center to be met by the owner. A realy nice bloke with a great sense of humour. We were made to feel very welcome by all the instructors and the center was run very well, not at all 'clickey' which is often the case in a lot of other Dive Centers in my experience. The Dives were great, lots to see, well guided and the instructors did a very good job of looking after us all, assisting with kit, pointing out things of interest and sorting any problems we had. A special thanks goes to Curtis who was a star and looked after Sandie when she had a medical emergency following her first dive. I have written this email in the hope that you can use part or all of it to help promote your company, your resort and Dive center. Once again thank you for organising us a brilliant holiday, all we have to do now is earn the money to book next years with you!
Hi Carol......I was very uncertain about dealing with a company that i did not know about! On the telephone you where very helpful and friendly, more than willing to help! I received plenty of information on what i needed to bring. The pack where to eat was brilliant it, no issues where to eat!
When i arrived at Lanzarote airport as stated there was someone to welcome me and made sure i got on the correct transport. The trip the accommodation was fine. When i arrived in Costa Teguise Greg was there to meet me and introduced me to the people i would be sharing with. I was very please that you put me with people of the same age.
Then i was given all the details for the week, when i would need to check out and where i needed to be when. The gathering during the week where everybody got together where great! I was lucky to have two flat mates (Rachael and Susannah) that where easy to get on with and we got all really well.
The surf school was brilliant, the instructors where very approachable and great fun! I think you used the best surf school as we saw another surf school on the beach and they were not as good or professional! I enjoyed it that much i booked another lesson on the Saturday!"
The weather was great and the accommodation was fine no issues. I would be more than happy to recommend you to anybody and would be more than happy to come on holiday with you again. Carol.....Thanks very much for all of the arrangements for our recent snorkelling holiday at Shagra Eco Village: everything went very well and there were no administrative surprises. The flights went smoothly and the gluten free meals each way for Gill were very tasty; only issue (for Thomson Airlines) was the paucity of legroom on a 5 hour flight. Once in Egypt we were well looked after by the staff, and what a location!!! We both enjoyed a very relaxed week in great accommodation, beautiful yet stark desert surroundings, and a very professionally run Diving School (of which we had no previous experience). We did feel a little like outsiders as snorkelers amongst the mass of divers, but that was probably due to our complete lack of previous experience. That said, the staff were all very helpful and accommodating to our (probably silly) questions. After a few tentative swims we threw ourselves into the opportunity to snorkel three times a day interspersed with lazily drying off under the sun awning whilst watching groups of diving parties that started early 6.30am and went on to night dives until 9pm. The weather was magnificent, mid 30s, but dry heat and cooled to a comfortable level by the ever present coastal breeze. The snorkelling was staggeringly wonderful, a great couple of house reefs with few restrictions and so many beautiful fish and turtles: water temperature was very pleasing to someone who hates cold water. We tended to use zodiac trips out to the edge of the reef inlet and slowly swim into the shore over about an hour. We did try a day trip to the dolphinhouse reef, but no-one was home that day. However, the boat journey was beautiful and relaxing in itself, and the waters around the lagoon so startlingly clear to snorkel in. The Eco Village was great fun, and the domestic arrangements much better than we ever expected. The availability of cool drinking water and soft drinks at any time/place was a lifesaver. The eating arrangements we also very well thought out, with each meal period covering 2 or 3 hours to enable the diving/snorkelling to take priority: and what food!
Our lasting impression is that Sharga Eco Village is a beautiful location and is very well run establishment that offers unparalleled diving/snorkelling/swimming opportunities in the Red Sea at a reasonable price. It is a location that we would have no hesitation returning to or recommending to others (we have already convinced our children to give it a go sometime). However, there are so many travel experiences that we have yet to experience, so it may be a while before we return.

Hi Tony, The trip was really great thankyou I saw very playful dolphins and reef sharks , stone fish , massive eels, etc etc on my dives and the corals were amazing. The water was a rather rough on some days but i survived ha ha and the staff were very good !!

After taking to it like a natural instantly, I extended my stay for 4 extra days and am well on my way to my advanced diver qualification. Te team here is wonderful! Carole and Emma have both been incredible and my instructor, Noeleen Graham is without question the best teacher I could've had!! I will be in touch soon to book again!

Back at work now but had an excellent time in Dahab thanks.
A great location, staff, partners etc which enhanced the whole break and just what I needed. The hotel is ideally located just far enough away yet close enough to the town centre and so friendly. The dive centre and staff (Yousef/Sergei in particular) were laid back yet professional and accommodating and pushed me to try some things I had hitherto avoided so that was excellent and there is always room for improvement!! I have now deviced I must invest in the ability to take photos underwater!!
Once again great time and really relaxing.
